This is a much-admired, exquisite piece that we picked up in auction. Handmade and cast in 18k gold, everything about this ring exudes quality. It is heavy, weighing over five grams and it is immediately apparent that great care was taken in the selection and setting of, not just the natural blue sapphire centre stone, but also the round brilliant diamond halo. The diamond surround is of a high colour and clarity with a total carat weight of about 0.40ct. The 1ct pear sapphire has the rare qualitys of deep blue hue and light translucence.
