Here's a step-by-step guide to help you through our engagement ring design process:
Research and Inspiration
Start by gathering ideas and inspiration for your engagement ring design. Look for images of rings you like, whether it’s on websites, social media, or in magazines. Consider the style, gemstone preferences, whether you would like a platinum or gold engagement ring, and any other details you find appealing. Put thought into the look you would like to achieve and the design details you would like to include.
Take time with your research. Follow your favourite jewellery brands and designers on Instagram. A picture paints a thousand words, so ideally save images of engagement rings you love. The more detail you can reference, the easier it is for us to realise your creation.
Schedule a Consultation
We would recommend that you take some time to meet with our jewellery designers to discuss your ideas. This is a great way to start the process. Our jewellers will guide you through the design process, provide advice, and offer expertise on materials, gemstones, and practical considerations regarding both design and budget. This is also a good opportunity to look at and try on different rings. By trying on rings, you can see in a practical sense, what design elements look good on your finger.
Design Realisation
Based on your discussions, our jeweler will create a design concept for your engagement ring, taking into consideration your preferences and budget. If you are happy with our initial presentation and price, we would agree to CAD up the design. CAD design only takes a few days and is a free service. At this stage, we would also present diamond and gemstone options for you to choose. Normally, we would follow up the initial meeting by WhatsApp or email. We will send you the CAD image of the ring for your approval. This is a consultative process, so at this stage, you can also make revisions and amendments to the ring design.
Remodelling
If you have vintage diamond ring you are lucky enough to inherit, or you have a gemstone you would like to use. we can incorporate these gemstones into your design. A sentimental homage to the past reimagined for a future of love and commitment. Repurposing a family heirloom is a great way to combine both sentiment and style. Meghan Markle’s engagement ring features two diamonds from Diana’s collection.
Finalise Design and Production
If you are happy with the final CAD design, gemstone selection and price, then we would request a deposit payment and we would go ahead with the casting. The casting process takes about three weeks, during which time we would select the diamonds or coloured gemstones for setting.
Completion and Presentation
Once your engagement ring is ready we will let you know to arrange collection. Since the ring is cast to size, there is no fitting or adjustment required.

After coming home and thinking about it I decided I wanted to add some detail to the ring which was done with no issues. A CAD design was sent to me and the best diamond they could find for me within the budget. The ring was then put into production and made in under 4 weeks. Myself and my Fiance recently visited Valentina at their Powerscourt Centre boutique for an appointment to view engagement rings. From the minute we arrived in we couldn't have had a better experience. Holly was ready with a range of selections based on our criteria and had many insightful and helpful suggestions. It wasn't rushed or hurried and it was a very comfortable setting.We found our ring and was able to collect it four days and we are delighted with the experience and will be going back in the future for wedding rings.
